6) Where can I buy nice quality rugs? & what do I look for?
Depending on what type of a rug you are looking for, you can search different places. For regular, everyday rugs, the department stores will be your best choice. Since they carry a wide variety of rugs from different dealers, you will have no problem selecting a rug of your choice. However, if you are looking for an investment quality rug, contact a rug dealer in your area or the one closest to you. Since they have a large selection and have a greater knowledge of old and in general, finer rugs. Once again, if you are not satisfied with your options, please contact us and we will help you find what you are searching for.
Looking for rugs as a blind item is a difficult task. Always consult with an expert first. Then you should look for tightness of weave, symmetry of design, good color combination and density made with either wool, silk or both, see if the carpet lays flat also if the rug has the same length & width measurement on each opposite side.
